  • Skills you will learn:


    The Advanced Open Water Diver (AOW) course is all about advancing your skills.

    In the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, you’ll typically learn and refine various skills to enhance your diving abilities. Here are some common skills taught:

    • Underwater Navigation: Master techniques for navigating underwater using a compass and natural landmarks.
    • Deep Diving: Learn how to safely plan and execute dives to depths of up to 30 meters (100 feet)
    • Peak Performance Buoyancy: Refine buoyancy control skills to conserve air, move effortlessly, and minimize impact on aquatic environments.
    • Wreck Diving: Develop skills for exploring wrecks safely, including penetration techniques and wreck awareness.
    • Night Diving: Learn how to plan and execute dives in low-light conditions, using specialized equipment and techniques.
    • Search and Recovery: Master techniques for searching underwater and recovering lost objects, such as using lift bags and reels.

    These skills are designed to expand your diving capabilities, improve your confidence underwater, and enhance your overall diving experience.

    Open Water (Junior Open Water) Diver

    Completed Diver Medical Form

    Open Water Dives – This course requires a minimum of 5 dives over at least 2 days. This course requires the following dives:

    Navigation Dive​

    Deep Dive (>60ft)

    Dives from 3 other specialties. This can include Night, Wreck, Search & Recovery, and more!
