Deep Diver

When you dive below 18 metres/60 feet, there are special safety considerations. If you’re ready to expand your boundaries, an instructor will help you gain the skills and confidence to explore to a maximum depth of 40 metres/130 feet.

  • Skills you will learn:


    • Manage your gas supply

    • Identify and deal with narcosis

    • Recognize your personal limits

    • Maintain neutral buoyancy while deep

    • Perform ascents and descents using visual and tactile references

    • And more!

  • Prerequisites:


    • Adventure or Advanced Open Water Diver

    • At least 15 years old

    • Completed Diver Medical Form

    • Standard Safe Diving Practices Statement of Understanding

    • Continue Education Administrative Document

  • Course Requirements:


    • Online Academics

    • Open Water Dives – This specialty requires a minimum of 2 days of diving. 1 day at the lake and 1 day at another location.
